EXCLUSIVE: CANCER SURVIOR CHRISTINA APPLEGATE SPOTTED SMOKING

Yikes!  We spotted cancer survivor Christina Applegate puffing away on a cigarette yesterday afternoon.  The actress looked tense as she smoked and sipped a coffee in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon.

Christina underwent a double mastectomy last year after doctors discovered she had an early form of breast cancer; does this send a bad message to her fans?  I’m not a doctor BUT, I’d think that having one kind of cancer would be enough, why would you risk another one?  Of course on the other hand smoking is a hard habit to kick and maybe she was just having an off day! 

I’m not judging, but even Britney Spears is telling us not to smoke these days!

    It doesn’t matter what kind of cancer she had. Smoking increases the risk of any kind. How stupid and selfish.

    Going through cancer is unbelievably stressful. This may not be a habit, but just an occasional stress buster. I am sure she knows it is bad, but as a breast cancer survivor myself, sometime you just do the best you can.. She is a hero any way you look at it. Give her a break. No one knows all the circumstances.

    It isn’t her job to be perfect, it’s her job to act. So what if she has a cigarette once in a while? She’s not handing them out to your children. Now, if she comes out with a Camel campaign, start whining… Until then, let her live her own life the way she wants. My best friend was diagnosed with a VERY rare type of cancer and smoked through 6 months of chemo after surgery… then she quit. Everyone has their time…

    yes smoke increases the risk of breast cancer but she doesnt have breast anymore so…..of corse she can get pulmonar cancer but heeeeey she is a human she is not perfect,she smoke from a long time ago and is realy hard to quit smoking, she have bad days like averyone else…..the bad thing is that she is public person so everybody is gonna talk bad things but come on!!!!!
    she is grate and have respet for her and her work!!!
    leave her alone…..let her be a HUMAN!!!!

    Not news worthy and insensitive!!! Everybody knows that smoking is bad. She had breast cancer, not lung cancer.
    Give the girl a break!

    leave Christine alone what she chooses to do with her life is her business, she went thru pure hell you have no write to say anything about her, if she chooses to smoke this is her choice, no one knows what she went thru, but if you put your mind to it, it must of been hell, so let her somke without plastering it all over the internet, this will never change my mind on how I feel for a great actress and good hearted woman

    Although I agree its her right to do as she pleases, I do think its stupid for her to be smoking after having cancer. To me it shows she’s ungrateful for her life. Look at stars like Leonardo DiCaprio that are addicted to nicotine, yet use safer alternatives like electronic cigarettes. At least he’s not trying to kill himself. I lost respect for her with this picture.

    I didn’t know she had any kind of cancer. But from your headline, I thought she had overcome lung cancer and was back to smoking. From the comments, it’s apparent that isn’t even the case.

    Everyone needs to take a breather (haha) and realize that she did not have lung cancer. Why are you bashing her for having a smoke just because she had BREAST cancer? criminal attorneys

    End of the day, its the person who decides whats best for them. So that freedom should be given to that person.
