BRAD PITT GETS FRIENDLY WITH A SUMO WRESTLER AND A CELL PHONE
Brad Pitt got up close and personal with a sumo wrestler in Manhattan yesterday. Brad and the wrestler were filming a commercial for Japanese cell phone company Softbank, which included the wrestler being suspended by four cables (apparently when the commercial airs it will look Brad is holding him up). Sounds like a whacky premise only the Japanese could come up with, can’t wait to see it!

That guy is a really famous Sumo wrestler. I can’t think of his name but why didn’t you put his name in the article?

The wrestler is the former Yokozuna, Musashimaru.

The sumo wrestler is the former Musashimaru, who is an American born in Samoa but grew up in Hawaii and still has strong ties to the islands. He is not Japanese but of Tongan-German -Samoan-Portuguese extraction and his birth name is Fiamalu Penitani. He obtained Japanese citizenship in 1996 as a sumo wrestler.

At least they are stopping with the CMs (commercials) of Brad or Cameron walking down the streets talking into a cellphone — those were so lame and got old fast! Now to bring down the cellphone costs … rather have that than aging Brad on the boobtoob here.

Brad looks gorgeous as always. Not sure why people say he looks old – wonder what they look like??? Pretty easy to criticize others.

Yeowza! He really has aged! I’m not a big fan and I’ve always seen his acting as awkward and pointless, but I admired his pretty face. (Who wouldn’t) So this is really stuning. It’s like reverse Dorian Grey. jwy

That’s Musashimaru, the one time champion yokozuna. His heyday was back in the 90′s. He is American (Tongan-born).
