Sad day for Mickey Rourke.  The actor’s pet chihuahua, Loki, passed away yesterday at the age of 18 (in human years).  The little dog when almost every where with Mickey, including the red carpet!

Mickey even thanked Loki in his Golden Globe acceptance speech and had called her "the love of my life." 

The actor is nominated for an Academy Awards, perhaps if he walks away with the Oscar for The Wrestler this Sunday, he’ll thank his friend in his speech.
