MICHAEL PHELPS CALLS HIS BONG RIPS “REGRETTABLE”

Olympic hero and moral compass Michael Phelps has issued a statement apologizing for a picture that has surfaced of him smoking marijuana out of a bong pipe at 2008 party.

News of the World first ran the incriminating picture that could ruin Michael’s 2012 Olympic dreams.  On November 6,  Michael surprised students at the University Of South Carolina in Columbia by showing up unannounced at a house party.  A source told NOTW, “You could tell Michael had smoked before. He grabbed the bong and a lighter and knew exactly what to do"

WOOPS!  Michael has since came clean and released this statement today to the Associated Press-

"I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I’m 23 years old and despite the successes I’ve had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again."

Nice work, Golden Boy.  This packed jam’s for you!

What’s amazing to me…a person who suffers from the “disease of addiction” to all drugs, people, places and things, included..It seems to be extremely odd to me that society is so blind…even Michael Phelps…We do things, not because we are child-like or inappropriate…We do things of this nature due to past and present experiences that we don’t want to feel or be who we are today…It just goes to show..that no matter who we are…Excuses that are drug-related, that rationalize using any form of drugs are just that – excuses…

I would hope that Michael plans to seek treatment for his “habit”, which is obviously, just a symptom of what’s going on inside of his spirit…or else, why would he want to feel like being someone else, which all drugs give us the power to feel…This is something that only he can answer for and to himself…

Not to condone what Micheal Phelps has done but why is it that as soon as someone does something outstanding the media starts looking for negative things about them. So they can say look at me I am a very good reporter. It seems to me that the media has come to the point that they aren’t trying to report the news to the public they are looking for something to sell papers and magazines and themselves. They are looking for a way to stir us up. Here is a thought, report on how many of the reporters out there are alcoholics or have done drugs at least once in there lives. Be Truthful, if you can….. Now they will probably be looking for a way to drag my name through the dirt…..
