Sad day for Brian Austin Green and a day of renewed hope for the rest of the male population.

Brian and fiancee Megan Fox have called off their engagement, US Weekly reports. "The relationship had run its course," an insider tells the mag.  "It’s completely amicable, and they are remaining friends."

The two met in 2004 and, as got engaged in November 2006; damn! That’s a long engagement!

Apparently the two will be taking time to "focus" on their careers. Right.  The best part of this whole thing is that they both have each other’s name tattooed on them-the kiss of death for all relationships.
