Even though everyone we know was tuned into the Gossip Girl return epie last night, Leighton Meester definitely was not!  Leighton was on hand last evening opening night of La Fille Du Regiment at the Metropolitan Opera, decked out on a vivid yellow-green frock and a pair of gold, strappy heels.  When US Weekly asked the star who she saw her character Blair hooking up with on the show, she said "I don’t want her to get with anybody right now. I don’t think that either Nate or Chuck are right for her, but maybe she’ll end up with one of them."  Leighton also expressed her desire for Blair to be back on top, since Jenny is now Queen Bee around campus, "I want the bitch to come back right now. I think she has to claw her way back up to the top."  Well after watching last night, it’s clear that the claws. are. out. !
