Actress Kate Hudson is struggling to come to terms with the apparent suicide attempt of her former lover, Owen Wilson. She is currently filming scenes for her latest movie in Boston and insiders have revealed that Kate is ''distraught'' by the news. The Hollywood couple split months ago and it's not known if Kate has been in contact with Owen or any of his family as he recovers in an LA hospital.
